[French Fry Exhibit Pop-Up in NYC – New York, NY]

November 10, 2014

From the Moma PS1 exhibits to the Met’s “Death Becomes Her” you can pretty much stand in line for art from one end of the island to the other. Knowing my boyfriend isn’t a huge fan of waiting in line or looking at turn of the century mourning attire…I instead convinced him to pop down to Sir Kensington’s Pop Up on the lower east side.

Running from Nov. 7-8th it seemed like beating the crowds meant going after our early morning gym run. I have to say it was a great free exhibit that while not art exactly does make you think about how food culture or rather fry culture shapes significant late night New York memories. Below are a few of my favorites. If you’re not familiar with Sir Kensington’s, it is a bootstrapped and locally based startup that makes a wide range of ketchups (and mayo).
