[What to do in a weekend on Cape Cod – Cape Cod, MA]

July 9, 2014

I’ve been lazy about catalogging my summer but hopefully this will get me back on the wagon a bit. Here are a few snaps from the summer, most pics are from the opening weekend back on Memorial Day when Ben and I went up with his roommate, family and best friends.

Home Sweet Cape, We’ve arrived!

Time to head down to the dock…

And of course the weather is perfect

It was tough work

So back outside…where Mike now has his belated birthday gift

Meanwhile, inside a game of Heads Up begins

And of course there was some late night puzzling:

We did take the time to leave the house with a mini trip to Hyannis, Putt Putt, some Arcades and such, a few photos below. If you’re looking to relive the day we had, here were our stops:

1- Raw Bar252 Shore Dr, Mashpee, MA 02649] Hot tip: Order a lobster roll and share it. The slushie drinks are intense, not for the faint of heart.

Some time later we make our way to Hyannis, Jon finds himself drawn to certain things…

A visit to Cape Cod is not complete without a visit to the raw bar

At this point I'd like to point out that this is half of a Lobster roll I split with John

Jodi was the only one present enough for this picture

Last but not least, my favorite picture from the arcade and pretty much the only one I kept.
